The biggest problem for emerging writers is keeping an audience engaged with their stories and content. They do everything they can out of desperation for the feedback they have been looking for all this time. Many of them often resort to advertising on other people's social media pages without permission.
However, there must be a much better way to do this other than annoying other writers.
I, too, am a writer, so I understand what writers are struggling to achieve nowadays. I have that same struggle-- that desire for recognition of my stories and talent. It can all go down to writing on the wrong website or app with the wrong algorithm, or even in the wrong genre. There are multiple factors that cause the lack of success in finding an audience and building a dream career.
So, what I hope to do with this personal project is the next major step in helping writers captivate and keep an immersed audience.
In each post, I will create detailed author spotlights, showing off appropriate details of writers' lives. That way, readers can see that while many writers are like celebrities, they're like everyone else. They all have hopes, thoughts, dreams, feelings, emotions, and struggles.
They are no different.
In these same posts, I'll bring attention to their books with well-written personal reviews, provide links so readers can access these stories, and show you the covers and summaries.
These reviews will highlight the areas where writers are talented and also tell them where they can improve. I'll provide them with the personalized review they were looking for, while they wrote on Wattpad, Inkitt, Dreame, or any other writing platform.
